The background behind the work
I'm Maksim. My path is not a straight line. I spent 13 years building and running businesses in Ukraine — not consulting on them, doing them: as top manager I operationally led a retail chain of 40 stores. An EV charging network I founded and built from scratch: 15 fast-charging stations, 37 cars, an IONITY partnership. Also agricultural operations and construction. Then the war came, and I restarted. For two and a half years I have been building in Germany: language, network, a new specialisation. What has not changed is what cannot be taught — how to decide under pressure, where the money actually goes, and what a good technology decision looks like when you are the one paying for the wrong one.
Since 2022 I have been delivering commercial AI media work for clients — 26+ projects, all under NDA. I combine that with 13 years of entrepreneurship and apply it today to websites, web apps, MVPs, and AI automation. My German portfolio is still taking shape — and I am building it on real evidence, not promises: a native iOS app, built solo from concept to beta, and a four-language AI wiki with 90+ lessons. I built both myself. That is the method I bring to your project. I use AI as a force multiplier — not because it is trending, but because in experienced hands it compresses weeks of execution into days. The experience that earns trust was built without it.

Spohad
Seven courses, 90+ lessons, four languages — developed entirely with AI agents. This is how I work: the same methods I teach here were used to build the thing itself. The code and the content are the same proof.
From brief to beta without a team: concept, design, code, and copy — all one person. Spohad is a photo app that turns the chaos of a camera roll into a feed you actually want to open. On-device, private by default, fast. Currently in closed beta.
Common questions
What makes you different from an agency?
Three things, specifically. First, I own the business context — 13 years of running companies means I understand why you need what you need, not just how to build it. An agency project manager does not have that. Second, my timeline is measured in days and weeks, not months. Third, you talk directly to the person doing the work. No account-manager layer, no handoffs.
Can I actually own and maintain the code after?
Yes, completely. You receive the full source code, all access credentials, and a plain-language handover document. The stack I use (Astro, React, TypeScript, standard tooling) is not proprietary — any competent developer can pick it up. I can also stay on for support and ongoing development if you want continuity.
Is AI-built software reliable enough for a real business?
The quality of the output depends on the quality of the decisions made during the build — that is the human variable, not the AI variable. I’ve built and shipped a native iOS app and a four-language platform solo, and I run the products I build on my own infrastructure. What I won’t do is build something fast and fragile. Speed and reliability are not opposites when the person driving knows what breaks.
How much does it cost?
It depends on what you’re building. A landing page is not the same conversation as an MVP with AI integration. After a free introductory call you receive a clear estimate — fixed price or budget range, depending on scope. No hidden costs, no retainer unless you want one.
What do you need from me to get started?
A plain-language description of what you want to solve or build, a few examples of what you like, and any materials you already have (logo, existing copy, access credentials). The briefing call takes 15–30 minutes. I do the rest.
What if AI adds no value for my specific case?
Then I’ll tell you that directly — in the first call, before any contract. Sometimes a simple script is the right answer. Sometimes no automation is. Honest consulting includes knowing when to say no.
