The rating rates itself
You never set a star by hand. The tier rises on its own from how you treat an item - a heart, a name, a description, tags, filing it into a catalog. The more genuine care something gets, the higher its stars climb, so your library quietly self-ranks by what you actually love and the best rises to the top. Importance should come from real attention, not arbitrary clicks - and that rating, like every label, is written permanently into the file's own metadata (EXIF/XMP), readable in any app, in Finder or Explorer, forever.
An infinite feed of your own life
The deck shuffles across all your folders into an endless feed that never repeats until you have seen it all - the same pull as a For-You feed, but it is you, and every swipe quietly sorts. Prefer order? Switch to folder, name, date or size, or open Library to dive into one folder.

Notes and a diary, tied to your photos
Write notes and journal entries attached to folders and photos. The wedding folder becomes a journal; your Recall folders hold the thoughts and ideas you want to return to. Your saves and your words, finally in the same place.
Camera Roll to Files - done once, forever
Spohad moves your photos out of the Camera Roll and into real folders in the Files app - each item already named, described, tagged, rated, and dropped into the exact folder you meant. You never sort it again. And because they're real files in real folders, you can drag your entire organized library to a drive or computer in one move. No lock-in, ever.
Optional cloud AI when you want it
Upscale to sharpen old photos, Reimagine to restyle from a prompt, Anonymize to blur out faces and private details. Entirely optional and per-use - routed through Spohad's own gateway, with library access staying on your device.

FAQ
What does the name Spohad mean?
Spohad is the Ukrainian word for a recollection - a memory. The app is, quite literally, named Memory. The logo carries the same idea: an eye that has seen time and can rewind it, drawn from an eye, rewind arcs and clock hands.
How is this different from my Photos app or a notes app?
Photos shows you everything in one endless pile and a notes app was never built for visual saves. Spohad gives your images the speed of a feed and the structure of four purpose-built catalogs - a chaos inbox, a family archive, a visual second brain, and a locked vault - so you can finally find, enjoy and revisit what you save.
Where can I get it right now?
Spohad is currently in a closed TestFlight beta on iOS 26 — access is by invitation only, not open to everyone yet. It is not on the App Store yet. Requesting access is the way in, and early testers genuinely shape where it goes next.
What happens to my photos and my labels - am I locked in?
No lock-in. Your tags, descriptions, names and ratings are written directly into the image files, so they move with you between phones and computers and are even readable from a plain file explorer. And nothing is moved or deleted until you press Apply.
Is the AI required, and where does my library go?
The optional cloud AI features - Upscale, Reimagine and Anonymize - run only per use, never silently. They route through Spohad's own gateway, and access to your library stays on your device. You are never required to use them.
Do I need an account, and is my data shared?
No account, ever - there's no sign-up and no login. Spohad isn't a social network, so there's no feed of strangers and nothing of yours is shared, sold, or tracked. Your media stays on your device; the only exception is the optional Cloud AI, used per item with your explicit consent while library access stays on-device. Privacy and GDPR compliance are built in from the start.
Will I ever have to sort this again?
